Default and Virtual Hostname of HANA Installation

Hello Experts,

I have some confusion about the default and virtual hostname mentioned in host name resolution part within HANA master guide (

As it said by default, the hostname name from OS (hostname -f) are used for HANA services communication.

Then for virtual hostname

If OS have two network cards with two hostname configured and I don't want to use the OS default hostname but the second one, then I should use the virtual IP with command hdblcm --hostname=second_hostname?

It is my conclusion, right?
