Trim joined fields in Attribute view

Hi folks,

I think I know the answer to this however I'm humoring a colleague of mind whom wants to perform trim on two fields being joined in Attribute view.  ie: we have data being loaded into HANA from an SQL db that is putting trailing spaces at end of NVARCHAR columns.  I don't think or see any way to do this sort of thing in attribute view joins.  We can do this easily in scripted calculation view obviously but Attribute view we are somewhat limited.  We are currently at REV82.
