we have a hana system which is at Revision 95. We have started facing issue where while activating a calculated view, the statement hangs. It has happened twice already. The user gets an error and the session shows in the HANA system as CANCEL REQUESTED. It runs forever and blocks any further activation requests.
I tried cancelling the process with the Note 2092196 but the process does not get cancelled and shows as CANCEL REQUESTED. Eventually I have restart the system. This has only started happening after upgrading to latest Revision but we had to do it as suggested by SAP as the revision 91 had a bug which was causing the indexserver to crash.
I will also open message with SAP but putting it here in case someone has encountered this before and have a fix.
