Hi All,

I have observed one thing. First i want to understand the below things.

databackup_0_1

databackup_10_1

databackup_1_1

databackup_11_1

databackup_2_1

databackup_4_1

databackup_5_1

databackup_7_1

databackup_8_1

databackup_9_1

These are the backup files that have been created.

We have a 7 + 1 node system. Now the question is that when the "INFO    BACKUP   progress of service: indexserver", the file isnt created immediately it gets created at the end.

I wanted to understand the control flow as to how things happen.

Global savepoint is triggered and then snapshot has been taken and then we take data into the backup files. But i didnt see the file till the last minute.

How does the control flow happen for the backups to be written on to the disk. We see the progress as some percentage but where is that data being stored is it on the disk. If so then the persistence area will be enlarged during the backup time right?

Can someone please clear the confusions please.
