Row Store Vs Column Store

Hi All,

           I am  new to SAP HANA, I have some doubts like,

1) What is Column Store and Row Store and how they work?

2) When to use column store and row store?

3) which one is better for data loading?

4) Which one is better for reporting?

which supports the indexes?

If any one have information regarding above queries Please share me.
