How to setup the future HANA architecture for an existing DWH

Hello Folks,

we have a DWH with around 100 complex inbound and another 60-70 quite complex outbound Interfaces, mostly non-SAP Systems based on Oracle (Database-Links, Files, SOAP) - currently all those inbound Interfaces are loaded and transformed with informatica for the existing Oracle DWH.

A future scenario to evaluate is the utilization of SAP HANA. So now my question is -

should all the interfaces then be moved and directly be loaded into HANA (maybe with HANA enabled Informatica PowerExchange), or would you still keep the OLAP database and use HANA for Datamarts and fast query performance?

On the reporting side, the current cognos 8 package will be migrated mostly to SAP Business Objects suite.

Datasize:  Presentation Layer: around 5-8 TB, staging: 15-20 TB -

all in all around 2000 Tables on oracle currently around 60 Powerplay cubes (some quite large - 5-10 GB) and 130 complex standard reports based on Cognos

What could be a feasible way for a HANA Scenario?  Thanks very much in advance!
